NDN Wraps-Up 2006 Annual Meeting
NDN's Annual Meeting brought together NDN members from across the country, to tackle the essential question of “What Comes Next?” The two-day conference included groundbreaking panel discussion on the New Politics, the Hispanic Imperative and globalization, and featured addresses from Senators Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton and Governors Tom Vilsack and Mark Warner.

In addition to addresses from a variety of progressive movement leaders on key domestic and international issues, scheduled panels include:
The New Politics Begins - What does advertising look like in the post-broadcast era? How will the rise of the Millennials and the emergence of Exurbia affect the progressive movement? Building on the path-breaking work of NDN's New Politics Institute, this panel will convene leaders from the public and private sectors to answer these and other key questions as part of understanding and mastering the emergent politics of the 21st century.
The Hispanic Imperative - As NDN's Hispanic Strategy Center continues to re-imagine progressive communication with Latinos in the 21st century this conversation will feature the unique insights of SEIU Executive Vice-President Eliseo Medina on the politics of our nation's fastest-growing community.
Building a 21st Century Progressive Vision - Featuring historians, thinkers, journalists and leaders, this panel will showcase some of the architects of tomorrow's progressive movement as it explores the development of innovative, effective solutions to the challenges facing our country.
Competition in the Global Era - As part of NDN's ongoing Globalization Initiative, former Mexican Foreign Minister Jorge Castaneda will join the GI's Director, former Under Secretary of Commerce Rob Shapiro, and leaders from the private sector to take up the complex international challenges facing businesses, workers and government in the global era.
