The Boehner Plan
House Minority Leader John Boehner spoke in Cleveland, Ohio this morning, and outlined a five point plan "to break the ongoing economic uncertainty." Here, devoid of spin or messaging, are the five steps he'd like President to take "immediately" -
- Announce he will fully extend the Bush Tax Cuts.
- Announce he will veto the Employee Free Choice Act, a carbon tax or cap and trade, and “any other tax increases on families and small businesses” if passed during a lame-duck session of Congress.
- Call on Congress to repeal the provision in healthcare reform mandating that small businesses file IRS 1099 forms on purchases of over $600.
- Reduce non-defense discretionary spending to 2008 levels.
- Ask for and accept the resignations of his economic team, starting with Secretary of the Treasury Geithner and National Economic Council Director Larry Summers.
Boehner also said that "We've tried 19 months of government-as-community organizer," and that we should "put grown-ups in charge."
What do you think of his plan?

Is this man delusional? Does
Is this man delusional? Does he think that the people are so stupid that they don't see what he is doing? I used to have a grain of respect for Republicans, I might not agree with most things they stand for but I respect them to stand for something. Pole saw reviews But all this bashing just to make the president unpopular and make him look like a bad guy, and sadly enough for some dumb people it is actually working.
If they really cared about the country then they should think about and ask for what is best for the country, and not just focus on what they can stand for to make the president look bad. Air rifles All their arguments mean nothing if you answer them with one word: Bush. To me that is synonimous for shut the f*ck up Republican. This behavior kind of reminds me of the horrible cases where the ambulance personel get attacked when they try to save somebody. Let the man do his work and clean up the mess you and what you stand for are responsible for.
