If you have the timeI hope you will join me today for a video briefing/chat/discussion from 215pm to 3pm. We will be using a new and promising platform, Spreecast, which makes it a lot easier for you to participate in the discussion.  Check it out if you can and let us know what you think of the experience.

As background for the call I will be refering to a few articles, below:

Pew: "Frustration With Congress Could Hurt Republican Incumbents"

Politico: "Dems May Cling to Senate"

NDN: "No Pox On Both Your Houses Now"

NDN: "A Year Out, The National Landscape is Changing"

NDN: "Reviewing Obama at 1,000 Days"

NDN: "Some Thoughts on Where We Are"

And cribbing from the poll roundups on Real Clear Politics and The Huffington Post.

See you in a bit!

Update - Some more data for today.  In recent state polls, Obama is besting Romney, the strongest of the Republicans by 2 in CO, 7 in FL, 4 in PA, 2 in SC, 6 in VA and tied in North Carolina.  In brand new polls out this week in the Senate, Dems are ahead in three critical battlegrounds: 7 in MA, 7 in NM and 5 in VA.  In a new poll of Latinos, Obama bests a generic Republican 69-20, another confirmation of very significant GOP brand erosion with this all important group.  Finally, a new WSJ acticle points out every leading GOP candidate has net negative approval ratings, something we have not seen in the last twenty years.  Another confirmation of the weakness of the GOP brand heading into 2012.

Update 2 - If you missed my talk and want to check it out you can watch it here.  Feedback welcome, as always.
