A Moment of Transformation?
A look at just how big a change may be coming to politics, America and the world
Wednesday, March 12
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Location:
Capital Hilton
1001 16th Street NW
Washington, DC 20036
Event Summary:
On the Presidential campaign trail this year we’ve repeatedly heard the call for change. Some have called for transformational change, others have even said that America is at a defining moment in its history. Are we in a transformative moment in our politics and the world at large? To take a deeper look at this moment in American history, NDN and the New Politics Institute hosted a free day-long gathering on March 12th at the Capital Hilton in Washington DC.
Joining us was a line-up of terrific speakers laying out this new narrative, including some who are just coming out with new books: Robert Shapiro, author of Futurecast: How Superpowers, Populations, and Globalization Will Change the Way You Live and Work, and Morley Winograd and Michael Hais, coauthors of Millennial Makeover: MySpace, YouTube, and the Future of American Politics. Learn more by reading the event invitation.
