For five years he has covered climate change, energy, and the politics of both, primarily on Grist's blog but also in print for Fast Company and online for Vanity Fair, The Nation, Huffington Post, and The Guardian. He has appeared a few times on Fox News' Hannity & Colmes, but is recovering nicely. He lives in Seattle with his wife, two young sons, and as-yet-unused graduate degree in philosophy.
