We've all heard that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin knows how to dispatch a moose with ruthless effectiveness, but what did this poor bear and crab do to deserve this? What's next? A collie?

The crab mount is a form of art up here. The last four govs of Alaska have had one in their office just like mounts in other govs offices around our country. I should know because I am the crab taxidermist who provided the crab mounts to my last four govs. Some folks in the world do have an honest relationship with their food and even harvest wild animals as a source of protein. I guess you, your family, or your ancestors have never eaten seafood or meat. I will bet you any amount that you or your family at some time have eaten crab legs at some point. If not crab, then shrimp, clams, or sushi. On another note, I for one would not want to dispatch a moose without being effective as wounding an animal and taking your time to finish off the animal is unethical. It is a unavoidable fact of the food chain, organisms have to die if they are to feed.No offense intended here, there are too many people out there who have a dishonest relationship with their sources of food.ps bear burgers are actually very good for you!!
