Sarah Sanchez

As an NDN Programs Associate, Sarah focuses her time supporting the vast array of Hispanic Programs at NDN, with a particular focus on the Latin American Policy Initiative (LAPI).  Prior to joining NDN, Sarah served as a '07 Corps Member for Teach for America in the DC region. Sarah's elementary students in Petworth made significant gains both years of her service, excelling as many as four grade levels in some cases.   Sarah has held positions at a consulting firm in Madrid, Spain and at a media marketing firm in London, UK.  She is an avid dancer, a native of Texas, and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Corporate Communication and a minor in Business.   In her spare time, Sarah is actively involved as Director of Communication with a local non-profit called love.fútbol that helps communities in Central America build their own soccer fields.
